Whether in our law offices, through the courts, at your home or nursing home, we provide seniors and their families with quality legal support and a network of providers to fill their many needs through estate planning, litigation involving elder issues, conservatorships, Medi-Cal planning, special needs planning and elder abuse.

Since 1978, we have helped over 4,000 people save their homes and assets from loss due to the overwhelming expense of hospital and nursing home care. We plan their estates in such a way that their beneficiaries receive family assets economically. And we help those who have money or services due to them claim and receive what is truly and rightfully theirs.

How do we do it? Our approach is two-fold. First and foremost, we work hand-in-hand with our clients in order to fully understand their personal situation, desires and expectations; so that we can provide them with the proper strategy to meet their financial and legal needs. Secondly, our legal team and support network puts this strategy into play. We are proud of the good-hearted, honest, caring professionals that work with us for your benefit. You are, after all, the person we seek to serve.

Some of our services are:

Medi-Cal Planning: California’s Medi-Cal program is funded jointly with federal Medicaid funds and California state funds to help pay for medical and nursing home care. We can help you qualify for Medi-Cal and protect your estate from “recovery” by the state.

Estate Planning: You need more than a will to protect your property and preserve your assets for your loved ones, and we can help you determine which type of planning will suit your situation. Often times, this can be accomplished with only a simple power of attorney. But many times, a sophiscated trust is necessary.

Elder Abuse: Elder abuse comes in many forms: neglect, mistreatment, financial abuse and more. Neither you nor your loved ones need to suffer.

Conservatorships: A Conservatorship can be set up after a judge decides that a person (called the “conservatee”) can’t take care of themselves or their finances. We can help you to obtain a Conservatorship in California
